[mythtv-users] Choppy Playback

Mark,

   I have to set the following check box on all of my frontends for smooth
playback of video that has been captured by my PVR-250s:

Setup -> TV Settings -> Playback -> Extra audio buffering

I do not know about the other question, I have paid little attention to
which processes are running at any given time. Well, except when
mythbackend  goes down because I fouled something up in the configuration.
