[mythtv-users] PVR-350 and tv out simply questions

Never mind, the problem was that I should have been using the ivtvdev
driver not the fbdev driver.

Jarod: the FC2 HOWTO on your website links to an old xorg.conf file that
still has fbdev instead of ivtvdev.

I've got TVoutput being piped thru TV-OUT, but am having trouble getting
X to work on TV-OOut. Have followed Jarod's guide and am SURE that I am
doing everything correctly.

But I woul appreciate it if you could share your xorg.conf file to see
if there is something else I have to do.

Regards,
Zaakiy

That case IS what I have running. It works perfectly. But remember, you
have to install it in two phases: First get the PVR 350 to display the
recordings (using the decoder); Next, set X to use the PVR 350's
frambuffer, i.e. have the menus of mythtv displayed on the TV.

So you may need a monitor next to your TV when install, repair and
upgrade the machine. All the other time, you really don't need a
monitor.

I hope that's clear enough.
