[mythtv-users] Sound not working

I tried fuser too. Shows nothing. Yep, /dev/dsp exists
and I have been using it for about 2 weeks with
no problem before this happened. Really odd.

Anyway, yeah, I touched mtd.log, and the /dev/dsp
sound problem went away.

Now I just have the channel tuning problem. Are the
frequencies controlled by Zap2It?

Thanks for the tip Nate.

tip you can use fuser /dev/dsp to find out if anything is using it
rather than ps and grep

have you checked to make sure /dev/dsp exists?

also, you might try creating an empty file at
/var/lib/mythdvd/temp/mtd.log and see if that helps
