[mythtv-users] IR transmitters

I'm building up a new backend from a dual 1GHz PIII machine with 2G
ram. It's overkill, yeah, but I got it for $200. It's one of the old
VA Linux Fullon 2X2 machines.

Anyway, I build the 3 component IR transmitter, got the codes all learned
via irrecord, and it changes the channels on the FTA Satt. unit. But,
since I'm still running the other combo front/backend, which is not anywhere
near the TV anymore, I used ssh in the command to change the channel. Now
the external command looks like:

ssh root at newbackend /usr/local/bin/change_chan.sh

and it works! Woo Hoo!

Thanks everyone for all the help and all the dev folks for their hard
work! Mythtv is starting to displace the ReplayTV units!

Tim
