[mythtv-users] No Channels after upgrading to CVS?

OK well..I tried a bunch of stuff to remedy this and I ended up just
truncating my channel table and then running mythfilldatabase again. It
finally worked...and I seem to have program guide data now.

It looks as though all my scheduled recordings have gone AWOL though...and
I'm guessing this is because the chanid field has changed for all the
channels. Any way to fix this without manually re-scheduling all my shows?
I must have 70 of em set to record weekly/daily/any. Hehe

I have a few more problems as well.

1) When I try to load up the Scheduled Recordings page in MythWeb I get the
following error:
Fatal Error at /var/www/html/mythweb/includes/programs.php, line 103:
load_all_program_data() attempted with an empty $Channels array

2) When I try to load the Recorded Programs page in MythWeb I get this
error:

Warning at /var/www/html/mythweb/recorded_programs.php, line 103:
symlink(): Permission denied
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning at /var/www/html/mythweb/themes/Default/theme.php, line 14:
Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started
at /var/www/html/mythweb/includes/errors.php:68)

Not sure what's going on here. This is the CVS version of MythWeb.
Obviously the old MythWeb version won't work because of incompatible
versions. I usually use MythWeb for all my scheduling and what not from my
office upstairs and would really love to get t working again.

Any advice? Am I missing pieces from the CVS build?

Scott

Subject: [mythtv-users] No Channels after upgrading to CVS?

I finally got Myth CVS up and running. My frontend and backend are
speaking....DataDirect is setup to grab data. I ran mythfilldatabase and it
succeeded, but the channel table and program table are empty. And everytime
I try to go into the Program Guide...it crashes out with:

You don't have any channels defined in the database
This isn't going to work

Segmentation fault

....and that's all it wants to do. I made a full backup of my database
prior to upgrading to CVS...and I also made a copy of the channel table to
channel_copy. I did import the channels again from channel to
channel_copy....but no dice. I also checked out the channel editor and it
seems to have all my channels listed in there.

Where do the channels get stored with the DataDirect Method? Where is the
program guide data stored now as well?

I checked dvb_channel as well..nothing in there.

Help?

Scott
