[mythtv-users] TV-out on EPIA M Xfree users problem

Hi,

Fiddling around with my config, I've decided to try the TV-out on the EPIA M rather than my PVR-350.

Now if I startx as root and run mythtv all is well, however if I startx as the normal mythtv user, I get a  not quite right display, i.e. mythtv is off center and the screen brightness is a lot brighter.

I'm thinking permissions problem, but don't know where to start looking.
