And then, wouldn't you know it, I've been laid up the past day and a 
half with whatever my kid had... This is the first time I've been 
upright for more than 10 minutes in a day and a half... Ick.

Heh, we also just got all new workstations at work, and oy, its been an 
adventure... A few that BSOD repeatedly, right out of the box, and even 
after a fresh install (all our servers are Linux and Solaris, but the 
workstations are all Windows -- save my 2nd box, which is Linux). On 
the bright side, the entire IT group got dual 19" LCDs with their new 
systems. Several of us want to ditch Windows altogether, but management 
is against it -- they don't want to have to support two desktop 
platforms, since some people just aren't ready for something other than
