[mythtv-users] Delete Channels?

How do I delete channels from the listings?
If I edit the /home/mythtv/mythtv/dev/video.xmltv and put "not" in front of 
the offending channel the listing is not shown, but the channel still takes 
up space in the grid. I would like to DELETE the channel so it is not shown 
on the programming grid.

The fetch list for my cable company is incorrect. How can I correct for new 
channels?
