IVTV Experimental

Can someone explain the correct method of installing ivtv-experimental?
Should ivtv be installed 1st?
# apt-get install ivtv-firmware
# apt-get install ivtv-kmdl-$MYKERNEL
# apt-get install ivtv

Or should the above be skipped?

Is there an equivalent to install ivtv-kmdl-$MYKERNEL and apt-get install ivtv?
I tried uncommenting /etc/apt/sources.list
to allow
rpm http://apt.physik.fu-berlin.de fedora/1/en/i386 at-bleeding

In the end I downloaded each and used rpm -ivh on each of the 3 files

kernel driver
ivtv-kmdl-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl-0.1.10-30_pre2_ck63p.rhfc1.at.athlon.rpm downloaded/installed

ivtvc15 driver
ivtv-0.1.10-30_pre2_ck63p.rhfc1.at.i386.rpm downloaded/installed

debug drivers
ivtv-debuginfo-0.1.10-30_pre2_ck63p.rhfc1.at.athlon.rpm downloaded/installed

A quick note somewhere on the web pages/or Jarod's guide would be very helpful
to newbies like me.

Secondly what is the recommended modules.conf for this version?

I am still aiming to get PVR-350 to work initially on the computer
monitor as a debugging step before trying Myth.
I am using the tuner for input or svideo from my NTL box (with converting leading)
ptune-ui and test_ioctl to configure.
Followed by capture and mplayer to test.

Is the following still correct for ivtv_experimental?

# ivtv modules setup
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 mpg_buffers=90
options tuner type=1 # 2 NTSC tuner, probably type 1
options msp3400 once=1 simple=1
add below ivtv msp3400 saa7115 tuner

I am based in the UK.
I have been following the latest Jarod guide to install.

My hardware:
tveeprom.c: starting probe for adapter ivtv i2c driver #0 (0x10005)
tveeprom.c: detecting tveeprom client on address 0xa0
tvee: Hauppauge: model=48135, rev=J324, serial#=6815318
tvee: tuner=Philips FM1246 (idx=24, type=1)
tvee: tuner fmt=PAL(I) (eeprom=0x10, v4l2=0x00000010)
tvee: audio_processor=CS5331 (type=9)

Thanks in advance for any comments.
