I did the same thing and purchased a 9A60 to see how it would work. For me
it was nothing but trial and error. I used Powerstrip to test resolutions on
my driver and it was just seeing which worked best and then getting the
times and testing them in linux afterwards.

Subject: [mythtv-users] OT MythTV and Audio Authority 9A60
Hi all,
I am in the progress of moving my Magnificent Myth box from the Den to the
Family Room. I purchased a Audio Authority 9A60 as recommended by Jarod
following the HowTo (http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/mythhd.php
<http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/mythhd.php> ). He recommended checking
following the instructions on
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=
<http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33207>
&threadid=33207 but I am running in to problems.
When I try to load a "User Defined" driver in Powerstrip 3.5, I get a
dialogue box stating that the driver accepted it but when I try to use it my
screen goes black for 10 seconds then it falls back to the original
resolution. Could my monitor not support the resolution? How should I
proceed?
The relevant equipment is as follows:
AMD 2800+
On board Nvidia GeForce4 MX
Viewsonic PS790 Monitor
Toshiba 55HX70 Cinema Series
As a side note it anyone has the same TV and had a XF86Conifig already,
words could not express how awesome that would be!!!
Sincerely,
Vince
