[mythtv-users] mythvideo - mplayer focus problem

Well, not the same problem, and not a solution, but I too have problems
with mPlayer's focus in MythVideo. I'm using fluxbox as my WM, using sloppy
focus (i.e. point to focus) and when a movie is played, it plays back fine,
but it seems that there is no control of the screen - I can't stop, fast
forward, rewind or do any of the usual mPlayer switches. If I ssh in and
kill -9 mPlayer, all of the key presses I pressed whilst the movie was
playing get echoed all at once to the Myth interface, with the result that
it goes utterly crazy. I'm going to try MythVid out with Xine (since it
seems to have better support for OGM files in my experience), but in the
meantime does anyone know what's causing these irritations? I've tried
running frontend from the CLI, but it doesn't report any obtuse error.

In case it's relevant, GFX card is an nVidia with the closed drivers, and
for the moment the movies are running with the default mplayer command
MythVid ships with (so the problem might be usnig the xv option...?)

Will post back any positive tweakery...
