[mythtv-users] XF86Config for nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440?

If I remember correctly, I had luck with something like this:
	Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV,VGA"
while Twinview led me nowhere (which didn't distress me much, as I only
output to TV after having finished setup).

To get output on both I use twinview. I believe with that older driver I
think you can put Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV,CRT"

Subject: [mythtv-users] XF86Config for nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440?

I just rebuilt my system per Jarod's instructions
(http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php) and am having a problem with TV-out
from my nVidia GeForce4 MX 440 video card. I installed the
1.0-4363 drivers using Axel's Fedora kernel modules. Per the instructions,
I added the following Device section to the nVidia XF86Config file:

Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "nvidia"
        VendorName "Chaintech"
BoardName "nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440"
        Option "RenderAccel" "1"
        Option "TVStandard" "NTSC-M"
        Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
        Option "TVOverScan" "0.7"
        Option "NvAGP" "1"
EndSection

When I booted, output was on both the monitor (Gateway EV700) and television
(27" JVC) until X started, at which time the television flickered and went
black. The reverse occurs when I insert the following line:

        Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"

Specifically, I get output on the TV but not on the monitor.

I saw other discussions in this forum about TV-out and nVidia but had
trouble sorting through contradictory information, such as whether it is
necessary to define Screen and Monitor settings for my TV, and fancy hacks
that made it possible to have different content on the two screens. I'm
just looking for a simple clone of the monitor on the TV. Could someone
with a similar setup send me their XF86Config file?
Alternately, I've attached mine if anyone has suggestions.

Specs:
- kernel#2.4.22-1.2179.nptl_47.rhfc1.at
- PVR-350 (but I'm not using its TV-out)
- nVidia GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x
- Intel P4 1.5 GHz

Thanks.

Ellen
