[mythtv-users] interlaced vs not?

Yes, I understand this.  I was just saying that the word "interlaced"
can also apply to the layout of the pixels, hence my confusion.  It has
NOTHING to do with the scan lines or the video-interlacing, but the
PATTERN is "interlaced" rather than "normalized" or "regular"...  Or
something like that.  Anyway, no biggie, makes sense now.

Anyway, thanks for the info about NTSC.  Now another question - if my
input signal is interlaced, what about the mpeg4 output from mythtv
(esp. if I enable that "helps with interlaced inputs" option? 
(wondering how this affects the settings I use with nuvexport)
