[mythtv-users] just got a pvr250, can't transcode to different qualities?

I've been using a bttv card, and getting excellent quality. However I've
noticed that I need to have a mpeg2 bit rate about twice that to get
equivalent quality. That's ok, however if I want to transcode to mpeg4 I
notice that I only have one transcoding profile for mpeg2!! So regardless of
what quality I recorded from the pvr250, I will always have to transcode to
the same quality??! I'd rather record at a flat (very high) rate and then
transcode to final format.

I just wanted to ask before I do something hasty like blow away my db to try
and see if there are other options..
