It's already been done, to an extent...  There is currently an issue
with files > 2GB and the stat() routine, which prevents php from
"seeing" them...  Other than that, if the permissions are correct on
your web tree, mythweb (cvs) will create a link to the video directory
and provide a link to the file right from the recordings page.
