[mythtv-users] tapping noise in audio output

Hi all,

I got my myth box up and running and LOVE it.  I had no idea how many 
options and features were available!  Really just too cool - going to 
this from a VCR has been mind-blowing.

Video quality is quite good (dual PVR-250 in, MX440 out), but I'm having 
slight trouble with audio out (M-audio Audiophile 2496).  Audio works 
perfectly except when playing back a recorded program, where there is an 
intermittent tapping noise in the background, sort of like someone 
knocking softly on the wall.  It's tolerable but a bit annoying.  Any 
ideas where to start looking for the problem?  Again, it only occurs 
when watching recorded shows.
