[mythtv-users] Linux question - which is easier?

Which is more difficult for a newbie?

1.  Installing KnoppMyth (already did that successfully) and then 
installing KDE, an iTunes compatible music server, additional 
typefaces, a good browser, and a few other items that would make the 
server do neet stuff?

2.  Installing RedHat, then installing MythTV, getting all the 
configurations set for MythTV, installing the iTunes server, installing 
additional typefaces?



Also, can anyone guesstimate how much drive space would I save by using 
a basic solution like KnoppMyth in stead of a standard RedHat solution?
