You are talking about the "Automaticly Falg Comercials" checkbox under
Settings -> Tv -> Playback from Mythfrotnend, right? It's checked, and
the method is set to Blank Frame + Scene Change. On the samesettings
pafe I have checked "strict comercial detection", and Skip blank
frames after comercials. I have autmaticly skip comercials set to "Off"
and The "Skip Unflaged Comercials" checkbox is not checked.

Does this all sound right?

Is the starting of this therad loged somewhere, that I cna check to
see if it's starting? I'm pretty certain it is on the "proof of
concept" box, because I notice that mythtbackend uses up a good bit of
CPU after a recordign is finished. I don't recall having seen this
on the "production" machien, but I could have missed it.
