[mythtv-users] HDTV ?

Hi,

I am now a new Myth user....  It is nearly fully functional,  I just need
to automate the boot-up and include an IR blaster to control my Expressvu
satellite.

Myth is AWESOME.   Many thanks to all the developers.

Now that I have it nearly ready, I am looking to continue working on this
(I just can't leave well enough alone).  I have an HDTV (47' Panasonic) and
am thinking if doing something down that route.

My current Myth setup is:
AMD 2GB
Marvel G400 TV for capture and TV-out (frame buffer)


If I want HDTV resolutions out to my TV, what would be recommended?  Also I
am thinking that to take advantage of HDTV I would need to get an pcHDTV
card for HDTV signal.

How many stations could I expect to receive in the St. Catharines, Ontario
area?  -(Southern Ontario, Canada)
