[mythtv-users] Sattelite recievers

well I'm looking at getting sattelite or digital cable
and such

I want myth TV to be able to control the set-top boxes
so does anybody know what brands and models are
supported?

RCA? Phillips? and then it needs a console port I
think?

I have no idea where to start or who to go with
