On the same subject, has anyone come across a prologic decoder program for
ALSA (probably using the JACK plugin system)? Its all very well having a
5.1 soundcard, but not that much use when I can only use the extra
channels for AC3 encoded movies (i.e. pretty much only DVDs) rather than
getting the prologic sound track from the TV shows.
(and yes, I know I could put an EMU10k1 in and use the prologic DSP patch,
but that sucks up another one of my precious PCI slots and ALSA support
for the EMU10k1 sucks)
