I've been toying with this idea for a while (not actually done any work on 
it, but I've been thinking).  One thing that has stumped me is that it 
needs to be secure - you don't want someone to be able to poison the 
database to make Myth recommend a certain show (imagine what an imoral TV 
company could do to increase their viewing figures by spamming the 
database with false data).  We've already seen what spammers can do with 
protocols that are based entirely on trust like SMTP.
