Nicola, are you using KDE? Gnome? There's a couple of ways of doing it.. I
have Gnome, so I go into preferences -> sessions -> autostart..

can anyone out there tell me how run irxevent at boot time as the last thing
my computer do? I found that only mythtv user account can run it.
