     Originally, by trying to play MP3s.  ;-(  The nasty buzzing that
erupted from the speakers was pretty awful.  I also tried to play MP3s
with mplayer and mpg123, with the same results.  However, after some
searching, I was able to play MP3s using either mplayer or mpg123 by
using the options to resample to 48KHz.  Unfortunately, there doesn't
seem a way to twiddle mythmusic to do the same thing (but I haven't yet
checked to see if any of the fixes in the link below works).

     There are a number of places that talk about this.  Here's one:

Look at section 5.6, "48kHz Sampling".  Note, however, that you have a
different EPIA motherboard than mine, and so you may or may not have
this problem.
