[mythtv-users] Problems with Gentoo + LIRC + Hauppauge Nexus-S DVB Card

Just for the heck of it, I rebotted into 2.4.26, loaded the lirc_dev  
module so I could capture it and show what's been going on with me on a  
different kernel:

Here's lirc from the gentoo startup.  /dev/lirc/lirc0 doesn't exist,
