[mythtv-users] ALSA problem FC2

Axel Thimm posted his Fedora Core 2 upgrades. Time to
give FC2 another try? Well, maybe not, I am stalled
with ALSA using emu10k1 and KDE: no sound.

this happens with a number of sound cards, not just
Creative Labs. The sound card is fine, plays with FC1
and is detected under FC2 (lspci). However, even when
I make the suggested changes to modprobe.conf, yes
modified for either emu10k1 or emu10k1x, it fails with
the message quoted above. Is there a solution?
