If I was going to buy one for my MythTV (or any other HTPC) setup, I'd want 
everything to be inside the case. Most (all?) motherboards have headers on 
board for the second serial port, for me this would be ideal. Going this 
route eliminates all the messy external cables. You could emulate a serial 
terminal (vt100?) for I/O stuff, possibly.

Just my thoughts
