Any remote should work as long as it runs RC5 protocol.

Currently, the driver for the MCE remote transceiver only supports
receive, so you still have to find something like the Actisys 200L IR
blaster to do the transmit for you.  My solution is to build my own
homebrew transceiver for use with the MCE remote.

Cheapest solution would be to find an old RC5 remote and build the
simple transmitter from this page
http://www.lirc.org/transmitters.html.  Or you can buy the MCE remote,
build/buy a transmiter, and wait for the driver update that enables
the ir blaster function of the MCE remote transceiver
