If your only video source is Dishnetwork (i.e., you don't also have
analog cable), then a second tuner will be absolutely useless without a
second Dishnetwork receiver. Since a tuner card cannot tune satellite
or digital cable channels directly, each tuner card needs an external
receiver to tune the channel for it. Since, except for a very few
high-end models, external receivers can only tune & output one channel
at a time, in order for you to watch one "live" channel while recording
another you would need 2 Dishnet receivers + 2 tuner/capture cards.

A few people have had success with wireless, but the bandwidth
requirements for Myth are difficult to accommodate with 802.11b.
802.11g is better, and wired ethernet (100Mbit or Gigabit) is best,
obviously.

2 separate programs -- "mythbackend" and "mythfrontend".
