[mythtv-users] My rear-end segfaults trying to "Watch TV"!

I had that at one point. check that your kernel has v4l2 support. 2.4 kernels need a patch. I changed kernel to atrpms kernel (jarods guide) and reinstalled the driver.

I have a PVR 250, using it's own remote. For now, I have the tuner on
the PVR 250 configured as the input source.

Everything works as far as plugins, lirc... All the hard stuff. The only
thing is that anytime myth tries to use the PVR card mythbackend dies
(segfaults).

The weird thing here is that "cat /dev/video0 > /tmp/vid" works great.
("mplayer -fs -vf pp=hb/vb/dr/al/lb /tmp/vid" is //really// nice)

When I hit "Watch TV" in mythfrontend, I get the following in  '/var/
log/mythtv/mythbackend.log'

And then there are no mythbackend processes left. Anyone clueful?
