[mythtv-users] WinTV 401 w/cx881 chipset

I've been having the same problem.

From what I've read, and I really can't confirm this, but MythTV uses V4L1 
while the cx88 drivers use a relatively V4L2 API which isn't quite in Myth 
yet.

Again, can't confirm, but I do have a cx88-based card (ATI Tv Wonder Pro) and 
am having the same problem.
