[mythtv-users] Mythmusic, SLOOOOOOOW menu

Whilst I have to admit that the music menu can seem to be intolerably slow, 
mythmusic in general now has colossal improvements in terms of stability 
and speed.

I typically load in my entire music collection (70GB on a remote server) 
all at once and play on random. In 0.14, it took about a minute for 
mythmusic to load, and about 20 seconds to skip tracks. There was also 
about a 5% chance of myth segfaulting whenever a track was changed. None of 
this happens in 0.15.1, so I wouldn't advise you rolling back (AFAIK it's 
possible, at least with gentoo - I ran myth 0.15 with music 0.14 for about 
six hours and it didn't complain).

As for getting the old stylee menu back (or some hidden secret setting to 
speed it up? Does it use transparency or anything? I can't remember) I 
can't help you. Bear in mind that it's new and will likely be much faster 
in the next release...
