[mythtv-users] Weird alsa problem

I really don't know why you wouldn't have the capture-able indicator
above that (any?) channel.  Check permissions on the /dev/sound/*?  Do you
have the correct .asoundrc file?  Are you using snd-emu10k1 (is it
included in the output of lsmod)?  What are you using in
/etc/modules.d/alsa?  How do these compare to the examples on the
http://www.alsa-project.org site for you card?

You've reached the limit of my alsa experience (short ride, eh?), but
hopefully that will point you in the right direction.
