[mythtv-users] nuvexport.. Batch mode??

So I'm very new to nuvexport and video in general and I have some 
questions.  What of all the options is good for putting stuff on CD's?  
I thought divx, but maybe I'm wrong.  VCD is lower compression, right?  
It seems that divx ~600 bitrate will fit 3 hours on a CD.  It doesn't 
seem to handle action movies or things that pan, though.  1024 bitrate 
seemed to handle that, but it makes 1GB.  Is there an easy way to use 
~1200 bitrate then slit the file in half?  Is there a better way to get 
3 hours into 700MB that handles motion?  It also seems the pixels don't 
matter.  Is that true?  Is 320x240 the same size as 640x480 on disk?  
What are some good links or some good methods you guys are using for 
exporting big files onto CDs?  I would play it on a computer, so I don't 
care if its dvd player capable or anything like that.  I can even take 
them off the CD to play them, I just want to archive them.
