Is there any reason on line 348 of
(mythwebdir)/includes/programs.php that
$this->airdate shouldn't be filled with 
$program_data['originalairdate'] instead of
$program_data['airdate'] ?

(apparently 'originalairdate' is something new
provided by the DataDirect service)

P.S. Now that we have original airdates, 
I look forward to a new recording option
"Record only first run (i.e. no re-runs)"
