Hello,

I hope someone can help me with this issue , U all helped me before... I
think there still is hope.
Since I reinstalled my computer (I went the FC1 way after to many problems
with FC2) I can 't capture with sound in mythtv and watching LiveTV gives
me a black screen.

1/ Capturing with sound is perfectly possible with the "cat /dev/video0 >
file.mpg" command, after setting test_ioctl -v input=7,output=1. When I
start MythTV, however, it seems to reset those settings and the sound is
gone... When I quit MythTV I have to make those same test_ioctl settings
again to capture through cat .
It seems to that myth somehow controls these settings. I haven 't been able
to find out where, or how I can mannualy change them.

2/ Watching LiveTV gives me a black screen and makes myth hang. Output in
the xterm is repeatedly: "Error writing stringlist. Remote encoder not
found." Settings in mythsetup are perfectly OK (I know that since it worked
before reïnstalling, with the same settings).

My setup:
Asus Pundit, Celeron 2000, 256 MB Ram
Tv out with Winischhofer driver (SiS)
PVR350 with ivtv driver (experimental from ATrpms)
FC1 followed Jarod 's guide
MythTV 0.15

Details from tveeprom:
tvee: Hauppauge: model=48134, rev=I121, serial#=6154596
tvee: tuner=Philips FM1216 (idx=21, type=5)
tvee: tuner fmt=PAL(B/G) (eeprom=0x04, v4l2=0x00000007)
tvee: audio_processor=CS5331 (type=9)

Any idea where to begin or wchich additional settings I have to make.

Greets,

Peter
