Keep an eye on the ivtv lists - there's some chatter on there about 
changing the way it handles dma which may provide more stability for Via 
chipsets.

Chris K recently mentioned that he thought 0.1.10 #71d was the most 
stable version at the moment. I've switched and am happy.
