Yep, alsa was working fine for live TV, although not with extra
buffering enabled, now I require it.
As for mythmusic, I've not found any way to get it working with alsa
plugs.

Was your Alsa working outside of myth previous to this? Mine was. The
only time I didn't have audio was inside myth watching live tv or
previously recorded. I didn't try Mythmusic or any of the other modules
as I don't really use them yet.
