It was mentioned by few people recently.

For some reason if you record in 720x576 and have X in that same
resolution the TV image is not scaled right. If you playback a recording
720x576 with mplayer and then back to live-tv the scaling is ok again.

My guess is that when X resolution = recording res. the scaling isn't
set at all. If you playback a low res movie (like 320x240) in mplayer
and then back to livetv you will only see the top left section of the
the image.

What you can do is set your X resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768 and the
scaling problem is gone.
