[mythtv-users] PVR-250MCE: Great video, but no sound

Hi,

I am having issues with a PVR-250MCE (rev2, I guess, do to needing to
use tuner type 39). I get video but no audio. I have been googling for a
couple of days on this with out even getting a peep from the tv card.

When I use mplayer (figured I have to get it working with that first before MythTV) to view TV, I get the following message:
Audio: no sound

I have tried doing a ivtvctl -v input=?,output=? to varius numbers. That
doesn't produce anything.

I have been loading the modules in my hand in this order:
modprobe msp3400 simpler=1
modprobe videodev
modprobe saa7115
modprobe ivtv
modprobe tveeprom
modprobe tuner type=39

Then to set it to NTSC with:
ivtvctl -u 0x3000 -p 4

Below is the ivtv section from /var/log/messages, hardware info, and out
put from ivtvctl -Y.

Lastly, I am using the following patch:
http://kmos.org/~ckennedy/ivtv/ivtv-0.1.10-pre2-ck99z.diff

Any help would be much appreciated,
K Murphy
