[mythtv-users] Waiting for video buffers

I have revisited Myth after some time and am happy to have managed to get a
Base Koppmyth installation upgraded to a 2.6.7 epia Kernel and running a
DVB-t card very well on a epia m10k.

The output is great and the system seems very much more robust than the last
time I tried a few months ago

The only real problem I have is the audio-video sync slips after a while
with the audio ending up about a second ahead of the video. This I know is
not an unusual problem.

I have tried enabling Video Timebase option and Experimental AV sync (with
OPENGL enabled in the build) but watching the mythfrontend output with
either option running I get ' waiting for free video buffers timed out'
indefinitely after a very short burst of sound.

I will try and include a backtrace of the problem but wonder what tips might
be available to try.

I tried the VSYNC reimplemtation patch today but that resulted in the same
problem (there is also a problem on my setup compiling this which I will
cover separately)

OpenGl is running fine (>400fps) and all the permissions look good. The
problem goes away as soon as the options are turned off but then the AV sync
problem occurs again.
