Thanks for the help. I now at least have some sort of recognisable picture.
Is there any way to fine tune the picture? all i seem to get is a fuzzy,
choppy (3-4 FPS), grayscale picture. and still no audio even with the line
in patched through. I am recompiling my kernel with a more things
modularised. i did have bttv in both my kernel and module and that might be
causing problems like david said.
