[mythtv-users] media monitor problems - no detection

media monitor wont detect my media. i have all of the settings turned
on:

however supposedly i should have a line that states /dev/cdroms/cdrom0
is being monitor, yet i do not get that line. ive tried both supermount
and setting up d-bus/hal/ivman and both will automount the drive but
neither makes any difference in mythtv. my kernel is 2.6.7 and im using
xfce4 if that makes any difference.
