any benefit for us non HDTV people?

Thanks Thomas - much appreciated - but I still get:
(WW) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "720x576x50i" (not a valid TV mode)
ah well - I wonder if it's because it's a dumbed down 'onboard' chipset?
(driver reports GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU)
Still, it looks pretty good at 800x600.
