Pete,

	I tried what you were talking about and that didn't help. I finally
got it to compile only after I went to the /usr/src/linux..etc directory and
ran make oldconfig and make dep.

	Then I made the entries into /etc/modules.conf. When I did the
depmod -a I got unresolved references to the 2 new modules (I'm not at the
machine right now).

	I'm going to reinstall with FC1 and see if that is the problem (RH9
that is).

	Can't believe this should be so difficult. Seems others have got it
working no problem.
