[mythtv-users] Switching channels only possible while mythfrontend is "offline"

I have installed a new system using Fedora Core 2 and a self compiled
2.6.7 kernel. The tv card is an AverTV DVB-T card. I imported the MySQL
database from my old installation (which did not have the problem I
describe here, but I do not know why...).

When I start the frontend it shows the live program of channel 3 without
problems. But when I switch to channel 4 the frontend freezes. When I kill
the frontend and restart it, it shows channel 4. Switching back to channel
3 freezes the frontend again.

So it looks to me like the channel configuration is ok. I can do the same
with other channels, too. The "only" problem is changing channels.

The backend logfile is as follows:
--- snip ---

Does anyone know what I can check to find the cause?
