[mythtv-users] Computer needed for myth using a PVR350

Hi,

I am planning to buy something more powerful but as a proof of concept I
built myth on an old
p3 600 I had lying around. I stuck the pvr 350 in, and 512 mb of ram.

Everything seems to work fine, I can record no problem and I can watch
Live tv with no visble
problems. The Myth GUI works well. The only thing I don't like is how
slow it is to change channels,
but I am not sure what causes this, the 350, Myth or ivtv. I suspect its
myth because its spooling to disk
all the time.

It does lock up from time to time, which I think is a myth problem which
has been fixed in CVS. Can
anyone confirm that?

Keith
