Use the nvidia. Search the Gossamer archives. for HDTV, modeline, and
powerstrop. You'll see a 20-step howto that I wrote that should cover
it. (Jarod - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE feel free to copy whatever you want

I switched from a GeForce4 Ti4200 to a GeForce4 MX440 without changing a
thing in my XFree86 config file and my 960x540 mode worked just fine.
