Wrong default input set perhaps? I think I saw that happen when my default 
input was S-Vid (I finally broke down and got both tuner and S-Vid hooked up 
this past weekend). Otherwise, *shrug*...

And if you're actually meaning to use S-Vid, double-check that your 
channel-changing script is functional (just taking shots in the dark).

Can you change channels in live TV mode?
