[mythtv-users] Double sound heard...

MythTV rocks!  I can record, and play nicely, but have a strange sound
problem.

My system is Mandrake Linux 9.2
Asus K7V Athlon 700mhz...blah, blah, blah.

Sound card - Cheapo C-Media Electronics CM8738 Chip (CompUSA brand)
Tuner Card - Old WinTV BT878 Chip based card.

I have a jumper from Line-Out on the Tuner card to Line-In on the sound
card.
This gives me sound for live tv.

When I watch a recorded program, I get sound from the live TV AND sound from
the recorded program.
If I unplug the jumper, that ends one of the sound streams, but then I can't
hear liveTV.

I'm lucky to have twice the sound than no sound at all =).... but...

I searched the list for a similar problem to no avail...

Any ideas to fix my prolem?
